We are not a retreat. We are a remembering. Bushcraft, foraging, tracking, cold rivers, firelight stories and off-grid living — learn to belong to the Earth again in 3, 7 or 21 days.
Call of the Wildling began in 2016 with one canvas tent, a borrowed axe and a crazy idea: modern humans are starving for wildness. Today we run a year-round forest school, rewilding retreats and youth tribes across ancient woodlands, mountains and bogs.
We teach what schools forgot: how to make fire from spark, find food in the hedgerow, read a deer track like a sentence, build a shelter that holds in a storm, navigate by stars, and sit in silence until the forest starts talking to you again.

We don't do wellness fluff. We do dirt under nails, smoke in hair, blisters that become calluses, and a nervous system that finally exhales.

Master friction fire, ferro rod, birch bark and storm-proof hearths. If you can make fire in rain, you can handle anything life throws.

120+ edible plants, mushrooms, roots and coastal foods. Forage ethically, cook over open flame, feast like ancestors.

Tracking, stalking, camouflage, night navigation and cold-water immersion. Reawaken senses dulled by screens.

Debris huts, tarp configs, spoon carving, cordage, natural shelters. Build with hands, sleep deeply.

Dawn sits, solo nights, vision quests. Learn to be alone without being lonely. The forest is the best therapist.

Council circles, songs, myths around fire. No ranks, no gurus — just humans remembering how to belong.
From weekend spark to 21-day deep rewilding. Small groups (max 12), expert guides, all food from fire & forest included.

Fire, shelter, foraging basics + night under tarp. Perfect first taste. 92% return for longer.

Our signature. Full bushcraft curriculum, solo night, sweat lodge, wild feast. You leave different.

Winter survival, tracking certification, leadership, 3-day solo. For those who hear the call loudly.

Parents + cubs. Whittling, animal language, mud, dam building, stories. No tablets — pure joy.
Phones sealed in canvas bag. Hot soup over fire. Circle of intentions. First night under stars — many cry from relief.
You learn the sacred order of survival. Hands blister, then harden. You drink birch sap and sleep like a stone.
Forage breakfast, trap theory (catch & release), deer tracking at dawn, gutting fish, baking in earth oven.
24h solo with only knife, wool blanket and water. Then sweat lodge, feast, songs. You are named by the tribe.

"I came burnt out from tech. I left with soot on my face and peace in my chest. I quit my job two weeks later."
— Maya R., 7-day immersion"My 9-year-old learned more in 3 days about nature than in 3 years of school. He now identifies 40 birds by sound."
— Tom H., family camp"The solo night changed me. Alone, cold, scared — then dawn came and I felt held by something huge. Indescribable."
— Jonas K., warrior pathBushcraft tutorials, foraging guides, wildlife encounters, tribe news and deep essays on rewilding. New field notes every week.

Read full story →No. 70% of our wildlings never slept outside before. We start from zero: how to hold a knife, how to stay warm, how to listen. Guides are wilderness first responders with 10+ years in the field.
We send a simple list: sturdy boots, wool layers, rain jacket, headlamp, notebook. We provide all tools, tarps, axes, cooking gear and wild food. You can travel light — the forest provides.
Safer than city traffic. Basecamp is in managed protected forest with no large predators, daily safety briefs, satellite comms, and evacuation protocol. You will be uncomfortable sometimes — but held and watched over always.
Yes! Family Tribe Camp welcomes cubs 7+. Youth Tribe (12-17) runs every summer. Kids learn fire safety, carving, tracking games and leave braver, calmer, muddier.
Then we learn the most. Rain is our teacher: shelter building, fire in wet, staying morale-high. We have huge canvas lavvus, hot tea always, and dry wool blankets. There is no bad weather, only bad clothing.
Next groups: May 16 • June 13 • July 11 • August 22. Only 12 spots per tribe. Payment plans & scholarships for youth leaders.
